Sworn into office on March 3, 2020, Representative Rachel Roberts is the first woman to hold the House District 67 seat, serving the people of Campbell County and Kentucky. In 2022 she was elected House Minority Whip, making her one of only six women in Kentucky history to be elected to House leadership. Rachel is a champion for health care, children, crime victims, public schools and teachers, and as a businesswoman, she is a strong voice for economic issues and job creation.

 

​Representative Rachel Roberts is owner of The Yoga Bar, a locally founded center for mindfulness, which has been voted Best of Northern Kentucky, and she is co-owner of RAKE Strategies a branding and communications consultancy. She grew her businesses from scratch and had the savvy and dedication to build The Yoga Bar into a thriving hub for community involvement and charitable fundraising. Her clients have included partnerships with The Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, FC Cincinnati, as well as some of the area’s most respected employers.

 

 
Rachel provides mindfulness courses for local first responders, conducts trainings for Fortune 500 companies and is known worldwide for her international retreats. As the Founder of Rake Strategies, she consults political campaigns, provides crisis communications services, and helps businesses define their brand from launch to legacy.

 

She serves on the board of directors for Newport Business Council and Buenger Boys & Girls Club. She is Chair of the NCOIL Joint State, Federal, and International Insurance Issues Committee, a Legislative Committee Member for the Interstate Insurance Compact, State Director for Women in Government (WIG), and Vice-Chair of the Kentucky-Taiwan Caucus. She and her husband Michael live in Newport with a dog named Steve and a cat named Kevin.
